DIABETES AND HEARING LOSS

Difficulty hearing is not a condition that people commonly associate with diabetes, but various studies have shown that diabetes can contribute to the development of certain types of hearing loss. Fortunately, there are ways to preserve hearing and resources that can help if a person is experiencing hearing loss. To find out more about the different types of hearing loss and what types of assistance are available, check out this week's Article of the Week, "The Ears Have It: All About Hearing Loss."
